David Giber, Ph.D

For over 30 years, David has served as a consultant and executive coach, guiding leaders and organizations in achieving measurable behavioral change and performance improvement. Drawing on his deep training in psychology and organizational effectiveness, David helps leaders understand their strengths, close gaps in their leadership, and inspire their teams to higher performance.

David has coached CEOs and senior executives from startups to major global corporations and is skilled in a wide range of assessments, including 360-degree feedback and the Hogan suite. He specializes in leadership development, team effectiveness, succession planning, and managing organizational change, blending technical business acumen with personal leadership growth.

A recognized expert, David has held director-level roles in human resource management and leadership development in high-tech, financial services, and travel industries. He is the editor of leading publications, including The Leadership Development Handbook (1st and 2nd editions) and Best Practices in Organization and Human Resources Handbook.

David’s clients include Macy’s, Colgate-Palmolive, Sallie Mae, Fidelity Investments, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the UNDP, and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duke University and a B.A. from Stanford University.
